Critical Biomanufacturing Input Assessment Act

This bill would require the Secretary of Commerce to send Congress a report every year on how much the United States depends on imported biomanufacturing inputs. The report would cover inputs used in solid-state, gas, and continuous fermentation methods. It would also cover biomass processing equipment and commercial-grade fermentation tanks ranging from 1 liter to over 75,000 liters in capacity.
