Politician Scorecards
PoliTracker
Politician scorecards and district scores, and constituent opinion heatmaps (coming soon).
Where do actual people stand?
Coming soon: we will share a heatmap about the opinions of actual people (i.e. not bots) on policies and politicians on a local, state and national level. Opinions will be shown by congressional district aggregates, and not per individual user to prevent 3rd party hacking.
Politicians and their scores
Profiles of politicians with evidence-linked scores, offices held, committees and recorded votes. Scores are based on four categories: adherence to campaign promises, voting record, impact of policies, and community approval (app based or surveys). Scores are based on availability of information.
Policy search and summaries
Bills and resolutions proposed, active and recently passed (within the last month). Includes a link to the full text of the bill, a summary of the proposal, potential impact, who sponsored and co-sponsered it, and its history.
How are the scores calculated?
Detailed information about the methodology behind political scoring, data sources and limitations. Scores are limited to the aforementioned categories, these scores might not include all aspects of a politician's performance, and are not a recommendation to vote for or against any politician. Party affiliation is not considered in any metric.
