Safe Spaces for All Act

This bill changes the rules for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program run by the Department of Homeland Security. It would let nonprofit groups use these grants to hire onsite security personnel and off-duty police officers. It would also allow grant money to cover the costs of applying for the grant, not just managing it. Groups could use grant funds to hire staff to apply for funding, but those costs could not be more than 5 percent of the grant.
