Regional Great Lakes Partnership Act of 2026

This bill would add the Great Lakes Commission to the list of regional partnerships recognized under a 2022 federal law (16 U.S.C. 1468(b)). The Commission is made up of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The bill would also change the wording of a related paragraph so that it applies to the partnership designated under the new language and refers to "the Great Lakes" instead of "a Great Lake."
