National Guard Heritage Welfare Society Act

This bill would add the National Guard Relief Foundation to the list of groups that federal law treats as military welfare societies for certain purposes. Under one change, the Foundation would be included among the groups that the military may provide space and services to under section 2566 of title 10 of the U.S. Code. Under a second change, the Foundation would be added to the list of non-federal groups covered by section 1033 of title 10, which deals with certain participation by members of the armed forces in those groups.
