Terminating the national emergency declared to impose duties on articles imported from India.

This joint resolution would end the national emergency the President declared on August 6, 2025, in Executive Order 14329. That emergency was used to place duties (import taxes) on goods imported from India. The resolution uses the process in section 202 of the National Emergencies Act, which lets Congress end a declared national emergency.
