America 250 Commemorative Flag Act.

This House resolution would recognize the America 250 flag as an official flag of the United States in celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary. The America 250 flag shows the nation's first flag design with the number 250 inside the circle of thirteen stars. During the anniversary year, the resolution would authorize flying this flag alongside the U.S. flag and the POW/MIA flag over government buildings, embassies, and official U.S. locations worldwide. The resolution also includes statements about the history and meaning of the U.S. flag.
