Recognizing the schools selected as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2025 and celebrating the history of the Blue Ribbon Schools Program.

This resolution would have the U.S. House of Representatives recognize the schools selected as 2025 National Blue Ribbon Schools before the Department of Education ended the program on August 29, 2025. It lists 28 Illinois schools chosen for the 2025 designation. It would commend the educators, administrators, and communities of the selected schools. It would also call on the Secretary of Education to immediately bring back the Blue Ribbon Schools program. As a resolution, it does not create law or provide funding.
