National Guard for National Service Act

This bill would require the head of the National Guard Bureau and the head of the Corporation for National and Community Service to set up a pilot program together. The program would include activities to protect critical systems such as transportation, energy, communications, and water. It would train and send National Guard members and national service participants to help local and Tribal governments, schools, colleges, and nonprofits improve their cybersecurity. It would also include disaster preparedness work and a nationwide job and training pipeline connecting part-time National Guard and Reserve members with career pathways through national service programs.
