Educators for America Act

This bill changes the rules for teaching residency programs funded through federal Teacher Quality Partnership grants under the Higher Education Act of 1965. Partnerships running these programs would still set criteria for choosing participants based on listed characteristics. They would also be required to give priority to recruiting and selecting people who are underrepresented in the teaching profession, and the bill names men as one such group.
