BINS Act of 2026

This bill would add fertilizer to the list of farm products whose storage facilities can be financed through the federal Farm Storage Facility Loan Program. It would require the Secretary of Agriculture to update the program's regulations within 180 days of the law taking effect. The updated rules must allow loans for fertilizer storage equipment, including dry bins, blenders, liquid tanks, anhydrous ammonia pressure vessels, and related foundations, electrical systems, conveyors, plumbing, piping, and pumps.
