POWER ON Act of 2026

This bill extends a federal program for preventing outages and making the electric grid more resilient. The program was created by Section 40101 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The bill changes the program's end year from 2026 to 2031. It also changes the years for which funding is authorized from fiscal years 2022 through 2026 to fiscal years 2027 through 2031.
