SABER Act of 2026

This bill changes an existing law, the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act, which created the Ukraine Support Fund. It adds a new permitted use for money in that fund. Under the bill, the fund could be used for the Government of Ukraine to buy defense articles and services. These purchases would be for responding to and recovering from the consequences of the Russian Federation's aggression.
