Western Water Infrastructure Fairness Act

This bill changes a federal water law that helps pay for rural water infrastructure projects in Western states. For projects under this program that benefit an economically disadvantaged community, the federal government would pay 90 percent of the project cost. The definition of an economically disadvantaged community would come from an existing 2020 federal water law. Other projects under the program would keep the current federal cost share.
