Intelligence Community Inspector General Parity Act of 2026

This bill would give the Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community law enforcement authority. It does this by applying an existing federal law, section 406(f) of title 5 of the U.S. Code, to that office. That section sets out law enforcement powers for inspector general offices. The bill also adds the Intelligence Community Inspector General's office to the list of offices named in that section.
