United States-Israel Agriculture Cooperation Improvement and Expansion Act

This bill changes federal law on the United States-Israel Binational Agricultural Research and Development Fund (BARD Fund), a joint program created in 1977 that pays for shared farm research by U.S. and Israeli scientists. It adds support for mid-stage research to the fund's purposes. It requires the fund to set up an accelerator program to speed up joint research projects and give scientists management guidance, technical help, and consulting. It authorizes $8,000,000 per year for the fund for fiscal years 2027 through 2031.
