Land of the Free Act of 2026

This bill would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act by removing subparagraph (C) of section 237(a)(4). That subparagraph currently allows non-citizens to be deported if the government reasonably believes their presence or activities in the United States would have serious adverse foreign policy consequences. If enacted, this would no longer be a ground for deportation.
