STAR Act

This bill would change federal public transit law so that certain federal transit funds could be used to pay the added costs of including art in transit facilities. It does this by removing a paragraph from a section of the law that limits how transit grant funds may be used. It would also remove a 'special rule' subsection from the federal law on capital investment grants for transit projects and renumber the subsections that follow.
