Strategic Resources Non-discrimination Act

This bill would change the Defense Production Act of 1950. It would bar the President from using the law's priority and allocation powers for domestic energy supplies for purposes of environmental protection. It would also bar the President from denying financial support under sections 301, 302, or 303 of the Act because a person explores, develops, produces, uses, transports, or sells fossil fuel-based energy. This second limit would not apply to financial support for the production of energy.
