Fairness for Fruits and Vegetables Act of 2025

This bill would change the Agricultural Trade Act of 1978 to create a federal working group on trade in seasonal and perishable fruits and vegetables. The group would include representatives from the Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Trade Representative, the Department of Commerce, and other agencies the Secretary of Agriculture chooses. It would track trade data on an ongoing basis and coordinate on possible trade actions and investigations. It would also consult with growers and trade groups about threats from imports and recommend programs or assistance the Secretary could offer to these growers.
