Reproductive Health Care Accessibility Act

This bill would create federal grant programs to train health care workers to provide sexual and reproductive health care to people with disabilities. It would fund programs to help people with disabilities study and enter reproductive health care careers, including medicine and nursing, with stipends that would not count against their federal or state benefits. It would fund education programs for people with disabilities, including youth, on sexual and reproductive health, including abortion care options and their legal rights. It would also set up a National Technical Assistance Center and require a federal study on reproductive health services for people with disabilities, with a report due within 3 years.
