Protecting Local Control of Data Centers Act

This bill would bar federal agencies from overriding, bypassing, or displacing state or local land-use, zoning, siting, or permitting authority over data centers located on non-federal land. It would also bar federal agencies from requiring a state or local government to give up or limit that authority in order to receive federal funds for such data centers. These rules would apply regardless of any other provision of law.
