Protect Local Funding Act

This bill would bar the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and the heads of other federal agencies from finalizing, putting into effect, or enforcing a proposed rule titled "Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance." That rule was published in the Federal Register on May 29, 2026. The ban would also apply to any rule that is substantially similar to it.
