VHA OPEN Policies Act of 2026

This bill would require the head of the Veterans Health Administration to post all of its national policies on a Department of Veterans Affairs website within 90 days after the bill becomes law. The policies to be posted include directives, handbooks, memoranda from the Under Secretary, and guidance and procedure guides needed to understand how the policies and related programs are carried out. Any national policy created or changed after the bill becomes law would have to be posted on the website within 30 days.
