Saving FACE Act of 2026

This bill would change a federal law (Section 248 of title 18) that sets criminal penalties for blocking access to reproductive health services and places of worship. It would remove abortion from the reproductive health services that the law protects, so blocking access to abortion services would no longer be a federal crime under this section. It would add a definition of "abortion" to the law. It would also rename the section to refer to access to "church" entrances instead of "clinic" entrances.
