Friends in the Field Act

This bill would add biological pest control to the list of high-priority research and extension areas in a 1990 federal farm law. It would allow federal research and extension grants to support research, development, education materials, information, and outreach programs about biological pest control. The stated purposes of this work are to limit crop damage and food-borne illnesses.
