General John D. Lavelle Act

This bill would require the Secretary of Defense to send a recommendation to the President and the Senate about whether to restore the retired rank of General John D. Lavelle. The recommendation would be due by December 31, 2026. It would be based on recently declassified records and the most recent recommendation of the Air Force Board for Correction of Military Records.
