ATIIP Reauthorization and Improvement Act

This bill would extend the federal Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program through fiscal year 2031. It authorizes $250 million per year for fiscal years 2027 through 2031, paid from the Highway Trust Fund but not from its Mass Transit Account. The money would be handled like regular federal highway funds, except that it would stay available until spent and could not be transferred to other uses.
