DPA Private-Sector Outreach Act of 2026

This bill changes the Defense Production Act of 1950. Within one year, a federal committee named in that law would have to create a toolkit and an online "one-stop shop" with information on how to apply for funding and contracts under the Act, business opportunities including for small businesses, a searchable list of awards and their recipients, voluntary agreements, and agency contacts. Within one year after the toolkit is built, the committee would have to make outreach plans for each federal agency that uses these powers, and update them at least once a year. The committee's existing report would also have to describe these outreach activities, and the bill fixes a punctuation error in the law's short title.
