Strengthening and Improving Mobilization Act of 2026

This bill would amend the Defense Production Act of 1950 to require the Defense Production Act Committee to hold a discussion-based simulation, known as a table-top exercise, at least once every 5 years. The exercise would be used to determine the resources needed and the best use of the authorities under Title I and Title III of the Act. The bill also corrects a punctuation error in the short title of the Defense Production Act.
