Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act of 2026

This bill would repeal the federal income tax credit that individuals can claim for donations to scholarship granting organizations. It would also repeal the rule that lets people leave scholarship amounts from these organizations out of their taxable income. The repeal of the tax credit would apply to tax years ending after December 31, 2026. The repeal of the income exclusion would apply to amounts received after December 31, 2026.
