Higher Education Challenge Grant Modernization Act

This bill changes a federal grant program for food and agricultural sciences education under the Food and Agriculture Act of 1977. It adds a new priority for applications for teaching enhancement projects, including paid work-based learning, that address a need for more trained professionals in food and agricultural sciences or in rural economic, community, and business development. It also authorizes $60 million per year for the program for fiscal years 2026 through 2035.
