Rural Water Security Act

This bill would add Colorado to a federal western rural water program created under Section 595 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999. It does this by inserting Colorado into the list of states named in three parts of that section. As a result, Colorado would be included alongside the other western states already covered by the program.
