Right to Representation for Department of Veterans Affairs Workers Act of 2025

This bill would require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to let covered VA employees have a representative of their choice at any examination that the employee believes may lead to disciplinary action, if the employee asks for representation. The representative may attend on duty time if applicable. Covered employees include people in positions at the Department, but not senior executives, political appointees, or people appointed under certain sections of title 38 (sections 7306, 7401(4), or 7405).
