Securing Smart Investments in our Ports Act

This bill changes the federal Port Infrastructure Development Program. It adds a requirement that projects selected under the port and intermodal improvement program be distributed equitably across regions of the United States. It adds the same geographic distribution requirement to the program that helps small inland river and coastal ports and terminals.
