Quantum in Practice Act

This bill would change the National Quantum Initiative Act to add modeling and simulation to the law's definition of quantum information science. It would also add quantum molecular modeling or simulation to the list of research areas covered by the Department of Energy's quantum information science research program. The bill includes findings stating that quantum molecular modeling could support work on fertilizers, medicines, batteries, metals, protective gear, and superconductors.
