GRID Act

This bill would repeal a federal standard in the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 that deals with electric vehicle charging programs. That standard is found in paragraph (21) of section 111(d) of the law, which lists standards that state utility regulators are to consider. The bill would also remove related provisions on deadlines, prior state actions, and pending proceedings that refer to this standard.
