District of Columbia Flood Prevention Act of 2025

This bill would change the definition of "coastal state" in the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972 to include the District of Columbia. Under that law, coastal states can receive federal funding and take part in federal coastal zone management programs. With this change, the District of Columbia would become eligible to receive federal funding under that Act.
