CPUC Act

This bill amends the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 to add a new standard for states. Each state would have to consider requiring its state utility regulator to post on its website every meeting between the regulator's employees or board members and a lobbyist, executive, or other representative of an electric utility. Each state regulatory authority would have to make a decision on whether to adopt this standard within one year of the law taking effect, regardless of any earlier proceedings on the issue.
