Pay Our Public Shipyard Workers Act

This bill would set aside federal money to pay civilian and military workers at public shipyards during a government shutdown. The money would cover pay and allowances for shipyard workers who work during any period when regular or temporary funding for fiscal year 2026 or 2027 is not in place. The funding would end when Congress passes regular or temporary funding covering this purpose, when Congress passes a funding law that leaves this purpose out, or on January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.
