NFIP Retroactive Renewal and Reauthorization Act

This bill would extend the National Flood Insurance Program through December 31, 2026. It changes the dates in federal law for both the program's borrowing authority and the program's expiration from September 30, 2023 to December 31, 2026. If the bill becomes law after September 30, 2025, the extension would be treated as if it had taken effect on September 30, 2025, so there would be no gap in the program.
