Military Housing Performance Insight Act

This bill changes a report that the Department of Defense sends to Congress twice a year about privatized military housing. The report would have to include an overview of the housing data the Department uses and seeks from housing management companies, and how each military department uses that data in on-base housing decisions. It would also have to explain limits of customer satisfaction data, how resident satisfaction is determined, and why data is missing, broken down by installation and housing project where practicable. The Secretary of Defense would have to post each report on a public Department of Defense website within 30 days of submitting it.
