SEVER Act

This bill changes an existing federal law that requires the denial of admission to the United States for certain people seeking to enter as representatives to the United Nations. It adds people who are subject to sanctions under Executive Order 13876 to the list of those who would be denied admission. Executive Order 13876 imposes sanctions related to Iran. The bill uses that order as it was in effect on September 16, 2025.
