HOPE Act

This bill changes the 21st Century Cures Act so that existing federal grants to states and tribes for responding to opioid use disorders may be used for public access opioid overdose reversal kits. Grant money could pay for acquiring these kits, making them available, and maintaining them. The bill defines a public access opioid overdose reversal kit as a kit that contains opioid overdose reversal medication and instructions on how to give the medication.
