Keep the Lights Local Act

This bill would add a new section to federal law covering public utility holding companies, which are companies that own or control utilities such as electric or gas providers. It would bar any foreign corporation or foreign government from being a public utility holding company. The ban would take effect 180 days after the law takes effect.
