Piers Reinvestment Act

This bill would change the federal PROTECT transportation program so that grant money for resilience improvements can be used to strengthen, upgrade, or improve municipal piers. It would also add municipal piers to the list of projects eligible for at-risk coastal infrastructure grants under the same program. The bill would raise a funding authorization amount in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act from $300,000,000 to $500,000,000.
