To authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to subscribe to additional shares of the capital stock of the Inter-American Investment Corporation.

This bill would allow the Secretary of the Treasury to buy, on behalf of the United States, up to 25,124 additional shares of stock in the Inter-American Investment Corporation. The Inter-American Investment Corporation is an international organization that invests in private businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean. Any purchase of these shares could only happen to the extent Congress provides the money in advance through appropriations laws.
